Ivy Sue and You

Christmas has come and gone, all the parties and celebrations have been had, the gifts have been opened and the last remnants of goodies are being eaten up. Our thoughts now turn to the New Year and the new decade that lie just around the corner. Year 2020, the year of vision, as I have been referring to it (as probably have many others as I'm not really that clever). What will it hold, what will come to be? Only God knows what will be and how life will unfold. As we approach the coming year, seek God, see through His eyes and filter your life through Him and he will lead you faithfully through this next year and decade and into eternity. “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 NLT Side note: the youth will start compiling a time capsule during the coming weeks to be enclosed in the wall of the youth room and opened at the turn of the next decade (should the Lord tarry) if you would like to include anything; a note, letter, photo, small items only, please bring them to me. We will close it up at the end of January! Should be a fun activity for all!
